The Organisers disclaim all liability.
GENERAL RULES
- All riders must wear protective headgear to PAS015 standard or such other as may reasonably be expected to offer a similar or higher level of protection, whether actively competing or not.
- All riders must wear appropriate footwear (NOT plimsolls or muckers), whether actively competing or not.
- All dogs must be kept on leads at all times
- Dressage Competitions and Phases
- No whips will be allowed within the dressage arena.
- Only snaffle bridles will be allowed during this phase of any competition. For allowable bits, please check the standard British Riding Club rules.
- Cross Country Competitions and Phases
- All competitors must wear an up-to-date BHS Medical Armband or equivalent, and this must be worn on an arm.
- All competitors must wear a Body Protector to the current standard. Air jackets are acceptable, if worn with the appropriate body protector.
- No fixed peak hats will be allowed during any cross country phase.
HEALTH AND SAFETY
The Organisers have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, veryone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring, and must obey the intructions of the Organisers and all the officials and stewards.

Neither Bath Riding Club, British Horse Society, nor their agents will accept any liability whatsoever for any accident, injury, illness or loss which may occur to any person or their property whilst participating or visiting any event staged by Bath Riding.
Failure to comply with any rule as stated either here, or as laid out for an individual competition may lead to elimination from both the event or activity, and all future events. Any entry fees will be forfeited.
