Welcome
Our club was founded in 1946 by the mother of famous show jumper Pat Smythe and as such is one of the oldest in Great Britain still in operation. We presently have a membership of over 150 riders, most of who live within 20 miles
of our club facilities at Grange Farm, Dunge, Nr Trowbridge. We cater for all abilities and accept members from eight years upwards. The club aims to promote events that enable riders to both learn and have fun, whilst offering the opportunity for members to share equestrian experiences with other riders.

We hold many competitions throughout the year which include Dressage, Show Jumping, Hunter Trials, One Day Events, Horse Shows etc.   We also aim to provide many activities such as Camp, Training, Dis-mounted Rallies,
Demonstrations plus much more.

Bath Riding Club is affiliated to Area 9 of the BHS British Riding Club, this enables our members to participate in regular area competitions and training.
Helpers Needed

We need helpers to help at upcoming events
(please remember that helping for one day per season is a condition of membership)

Please email bathridingclub@hotmail.com  "Fao Helpers" with your full name

Please let us know if you have a job preference, and we will do our best to accommodate you!
XC Fence judges will need a vehicle.

Ideally, we'd need you all day, from around 8.30am until approx. 5pm/finish, as it is difficult to organise people coming and going at odd times. If you can only do half a day, it will need to be to a specified morning or afternoon slot, probably 8.30-1pm, or 1-5pm/finish, otherwise it is just too complicated for everyone else!
No previous experience is necessary as training is given along with lunch if you help for the day.

Thank You
