Welcome to the website of Bath Riding Club
Our club was founded in 1946 by the mother of famous show jumper Pat Smythe and as such is one of the oldest in Great Britain still in operation.We presently have a membership of over 150 riders, most of who live within 20 miles of our club facilities at Bushey Norwood. We cater for all abilities and accept members from eight years upwards.
The club aims to promote events that enable riders to both learn and have fun, whilst offering the opportunity for members to share equestrian experiences with other riders.
Field Day
Saturday 7th August
We are taking a second delivery of new XC fences supplied by Willis Brothers and we need some muscles to help manouver them into place!
We are also looking for help tidying up the containers with some fabulous racking sourced by our dashing field manager Jamie.
There will be plenty more work to be done strimming around the jumps and generally tidying up. If you can spare some time please come and join in the fun - anyone with
a trimmer or rake particuluarly welcome!

- Showjumping - £4 members / £6 non-members
- Cross Country - £8 members / £10 non-members

Please Note:
There will be NO paramedic on site – basic first aid cover and standard NHS call out only.
In addition to hats, body protectors meeting current BRC standards and medical armbands are compulsory for cross country.
