As part of Area 12 we are invited to enter teams and individuals in various competitions. These are both Area Championships and Qualifiers for the British Riding Club Championships. All Bath Riding Club members are encouraged to take part in these competitions, so please get in touch if you would like to compete on behalf of the club at these events.
Please remember that for all Area competitions all horses/ponies need to be fully flu vaccinated in accordance with jockey club rules. Please ask if you are in any doubt.
Thanks to those of you that have already expressed an interest in the team competitons and to those who have already represented the club.. For everyone else who would like to compete please let Kate know ASAP.

2009 Area 12 Championships and Qualifiers – Dates for the Diary.

are qualifiers for
NAF Novice Indoor Show Jumping & Winter Dressage Championships - 28 & 29 March 2009
The Novice Senior (over 17 years old) Winter Dressage Championships and Junior winter dressage (riders age 17 and under) are made up of individuals and teams of 4, two riders ride at Prelim level and two riders ride at Novice level. Last year Bath did very well at this event with riders going to and being placed at the National Championships.
The Novice Indoor Show Jumping competition is a team event only. It is open to both senior and junior teams of 4 horses & riders. Both the senior and junior teams compete over a course of 80cm. This is increased by 5cm in the second round. There will then be a jump-off if teams are tied for first place. Bath did well gaining placings at this event last year at both Junior and Senior level. So come along and jump into a winning team!
